This Is La vergne (CITIZEN FORUMS)

I've been doing and hearing some not so great things about LaVergne and my husband and I are closing a home off of Jefferson Pike in 3 weeks (closer to Old Nashville Hwy). Can someone tell me about the gang activity and safety concerns or anything else that might be a concern to us? We'd appreciate it very much.

I can't speak for Jefferson Pike but I will state that the media tend to paint a bad picture because bad news sells and media outlets love money. I've had no problems in my area in LFE, although some spots are a little rougher than others - all in all the entire area is really a good place to live; from the little that I know about the city as a whole (been a homeowner in LFE for two years now) I'd say west of Mboro road is probably "safer" than East of. That's just my guess.
